Ruo is a small island on the southeast islet of Murilo Atoll. Ruo is the name of the island and the municipality composed of three main villages namely: Sopweta, Lukulap, Sopwetiw. The villages are then divided into smaller sections; Lepula, Lemwereng, Lepwaun, Leletan, Faleiset, Lepo, Leimwafo, Laisin, Rhukianu, Lefow, Leinipu.  Population of about 300 (more or less). The current mayor is Sepeda (Coal) Johnny.
